Meet Brandon Vang
Brandon Vang is a dedicated public servant and community leader with a life story of resilience and service. Born in Laos, he fled to the United States as a refugee at age six, escaping a war-torn, communist-controlled country. Brandon graduated from McLane High School in 1990 and earned a degree from UCLA in 1994. For 16 years, he has proudly called District 5 home.​
Brandon’s career reflects his commitment to helping others. Brandon has worked for the County of Fresno’s Department of Social Services. Additionally, Brandon has over 10 years of experience in the probation department. Since 2016, he has represented the community as a member of the Sanger Unified School Board, advocating for quality education and successfully leading the construction of new schools in our community.

Married to his high school sweetheart for 30 years, Brandon is a proud father of five. His life embodies perseverance and dedication to making a positive impact in his community.
